These Indonesian stops take you to two different cities. Waroeng Padang Lapek is the Amsterdam West entry, with West Sumatran dishes in my coverage. Little Jakarta is in Haarlem, where I tried nasi uduk and an iced es teler. The city labels and map links keep the two trips easy to plan.

Amsterdam · Padang cuisine in Amsterdam West
Waroeng Padang Lapek
My Waroeng Padang Lapek notes focus on Padang cuisine from West Sumatra. The menu introduction highlighted rendang, coconut-based curries, sambal and rice dishes, with lemongrass, turmeric, ginger and galangal. This is the Amsterdam stop to explore for those aromatic, spice-led dishes.
Haarlem · Nasi uduk and es teler in Haarlem
Little Jakarta
At Little Jakarta, fragrant coconut rice came with crispy spiced chicken, tempe mendoan, sweet corn fritters and urap with grated coconut. Es teler combined avocado, jackfruit, young coconut, condensed milk and ice. This meal is in Haarlem, so plan it as a separate stop from the Amsterdam entry.
