Xie Bao’s crab roe noodles came coated in a thick mixture of crab roe and meat, rich and briny with a little sweetness. A splash of vinegar helped balance the richness.
More from the visit
Crab Roe & Pork Soup Dumplings, pork belly in lotus leaves, seafood tofu casserole and dry-fried green beans filled the table. A golden, crisp pan-fried bun rounded out the meal.
