The Special Smashburger
The Special Smashburger came with two beef patties, American cheese, caramelized onions, pickles, crispy mini chips and WAKO sauce. It was a burger with several layers of texture. The onions brought sweetness, the pickles a sharper contrast, and the mini chips added crunch alongside the beef and melted cheese.
The Brisket Smash Burger
The Brisket Smash Burger doubled down on the meat, with two patties and chopped brisket on top. Double cheddar and smoky sauce made the combination juicy, cheesy and rich. Compared with the Special, the emphasis here was on smoke, cheese and another layer of beef rather than the extra crunch of mini chips.
Which one would I choose?
The Special is the one to consider for its mix of sweet onion, tangy pickle and crisp chips. The Brisket is the richer, smokier option from our order. Both were indulgent double-patty burgers, so the meaningful difference was in those toppings rather than the size of the beef component.
