From my visit
We joined De Vlieger’s reopening in De Baarsjes for a pub quiz, drinks and a sharing-style dinner. Roasted bone marrow, mussels in garlic-herb butter and crispy kibbeling with homemade remoulade started the meal.
More from the visit
Dinner continued with slow-cooked steak, mash and port sauce, mackerel tramezzini, carrots with cauliflower purée, and rookworst with hutspot, bacon and gravy. The reopening also showcased the karaoke basement.
